Information we collect
ITCertFoundry collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and any support messages you send us. The platform also stores lesson progress, quiz responses, exam attempts, scores, and daily-question activity needed to provide the training service. We automatically collect limited technical and usage data through cookies and analytics tools, described below.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate accounts, deliver and improve training, preserve progress, provide support, understand how the Service is used so we can improve it, prevent abuse, and maintain platform security. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and distinguish daily-question attempts; these are HTTP-only and use secure transport settings in production. We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with the site. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you individually, and analytics scripts only load in production, not during local development. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable access controls and safeguards to protect stored information.
Payments
ITCertFoundry is not currently collecting payments. When checkout launches, payment-card details will be collected and processed directly by the disclosed third-party payment processor rather than stored by ITCertFoundry. This policy will be updated to identify that provider and its role before checkout opens.
Data sharing and international transfer
We share information only with service providers who need it to operate the Service on our behalf, such as our analytics provider (Google) and, once enabled, our payment processor, each bound by their own privacy and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ITCertFoundry or others. Some of these providers may process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States; where required by applicable law, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Retention and your rights
Information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably needed for support, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and states with their own comprehensive privacy laws (such as California) may have additional statutory rights; we honor applicable requests to the extent required by law. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date above.
